Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in overseeing commercial electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management, engineering, or electrical trades and a passion for driving projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all phases of commercial electrical construction projects.

  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes.

  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and field teams.

  • Support the procurement process by coordinating materials, tools, and equipment deliveries.

  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

  • Assist in resolving technical issues, conflicts, or challenges on-site.

  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates and reporting on project status.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

  • 2+ years of experience in construction, preferably in commercial electrical projects.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards is a plus.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
