Job Description

They are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician. This is an onsite role and is located on Long Island.

About the role:  

  • This is a hands-on role expected to have standard skills as well as the knowledge to physically maintain and troubleshoot.  

  • Seek ways to improve efficiency, through upgrades and modifications to the equipment as well as documentation of the process and full staff training. Work with engineers on ideas to improve or repair inefficiencies.  

  • You will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with Vendors that are needed and will manage the spare parts inventory.  

  • The ideal Person would have at least 2 to 3 years' experience in a manufacturing setting in the following areas: ovens, boilers, electrical, HVAC, ammonia refrigeration, conveyer belts, pneumatics, and hydraulics.  Degrees or formal training is preferred.  

  • This is a smaller sized plant, but don’t let that fool you, they provide products to some of the world’s biggest brands.
