About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Managing Attorney to lead the legal operations of a high-performing plaintiff-side litigation firm. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the litigation strategy, supervising attorneys and legal staff, and aligning departmental execution with firm-wide goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead litigation strategy across all personal injury and employment cases.

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate a team of associate and senior attorneys.

  • Oversee preparation and review of key filings, motions, pleadings, and settlements.

  • Manage legal workflows and collaborate with intake, paralegal, and administrative teams.

  • Ensure compliance with ethical rules and legal procedure across jurisdictions.

  • Address escalated client concerns and support firm-wide client satisfaction initiatives.

  • Track and analyze legal team performance metrics; recommend and implement process improvements.

  • Serve as liaison between legal staff and firm leadership, providing regular strategic updates.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Active California Bar membership in good standing.

  • 8–10+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience, including trial and settlement preferred.

  • Demonstrated success managing legal teams in a high-volume environment.

  • Strong grasp of case valuation, litigation deadlines, and client relationship standards.

  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
