Senior Audit Manager

Location: Columbus, OH

Overview

A well-established regional accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Audit Manager in Columbus to provide audit, consulting and compliance services and oversee day-to-day engagement operations. The firm offers a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships on audit and consulting/compliance engagements
• Apply technical accounting and financial reporting standards and industry expertise
• Lead development of the audit approach under applicable standards and firm methodology
• Manage engagement workflow and team resources
• Review engagement profitability and prepare monthly billing
• Provide leadership, counseling and career guidance to the engagement team
• Build relationships with prospects, bankers and professional organizations
• Help identify strategies for entering new markets and clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum of eight years of public accounting experience
• CPA certification
• Construction and/or retail industry experience preferred
• Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills
