Senior Tax Manager / Director - High Net Worth

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Overview

A large national accounting and consulting firm is seeking a Senior Manager or Director for its high-net-worth tax practice in Minneapolis. You will manage tax compliance and advisory work, lead client relationships and support business development. The firm emphasizes flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate tax compliance and advisory work for clients
• Review federal and multistate partnership returns
• Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters and help develop extended services
• Research and consult on technical matters and special projects
• Participate in business development with partners and marketing professionals
• Manage, train and develop staff and participate in performance reviews
• Review tax provisions, depreciation schedules and property tax returns
• Lead multi-disciplined client service teams for account planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent education and experience
• CPA certification required
• 10+ years of related experience
• High-net-worth tax experience required
• Management and/or mentoring experience
• Prior public accounting experience desired
