Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join our growing boutique practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys hands-on work, direct client interaction, and managing transactions from start to finish in a fast-moving but supportive environment. This position can be fully remote- flexible schedule!

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate residential and commercial real estate purchase agreements, addenda, and related transactional documents

  • Manage real estate transactions from contract execution through closing

  • Conduct title and survey review and resolve title and curative issues

  • Review closing statements, escrow instructions, and related documents

  • Communicate directly with clients, real estate agents, lenders, escrow and title companies, and opposing counsel

  • Advise clients on transactional risks, timelines, and strategic considerations

  • Ensure compliance with California real estate laws and local customs

  • Assist with post-closing matters as needed

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Active license and good standing with the California State Bar

  • 3+ years of experience in real estate transactional law

  • Strong understanding of California real estate contracts and closing procedures

  • Ability to independently manage multiple transactions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven

  • Client-focused mindset with a polished, professional demeanor
