Insurance Defense Attorney: Fully Remote Role Serving the Greater Pittsburgh Region

Our client, an established Western Pennsylvania defense firm, is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney with 3+ years of experience to support its Cranberry Township practice. The team defends insureds and carriers in motor vehicle, premises liability, general liability, and property damage claims throughout the Pittsburgh region.

This is a remote role. You will work from home with regular virtual collaboration, and occasional travel for depositions, hearings, or trial as needed.

What You'll Do

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from assignment through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and reports to clients and carriers
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Attend arbitrations, mediations, pretrial conferences, and trials
• Evaluate liability and damages and recommend case strategy

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
• Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills
• Self-motivated and productive in a remote environment
• Willingness to travel within Western Pennsylvania for court appearances
