Litigation Paralegal – San Diego, CA (Hybrid)

A national law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support its Litigation and Labor & Employment teams in the San Diego office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced legal environment while gaining hands-on experience across a variety of litigation matters.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including labor and employment matters
  • Prepare, file, and manage electronic filings in California state and federal courts
  • Assist with discovery, including drafting requests, organizing documents, and conducting research
  • Prepare exhibits and documentation for depositions, hearings, and trials
  • Draft motions, client correspondence, and standard litigation documents
  • Maintain case files, calendars, and ensure timely submission of billable time
  • Conduct legal and factual research and assist with investigations
  • Organize records and prepare case chronologies

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of paralegal experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or government setting
  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate preferred
  • Strong knowledge of California e-filing systems (state and federal)
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
