Salary: $110,000–$130,000 (commensurate with experience)
About the Role: A growing law firm in the heart of Western North Carolina is seeking a driven Real Estate Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of transactional experience. This is a career-building opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney ready to take ownership of their work, grow a client base, and move toward partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate residential and commercial real estate contracts and closing documents
Manage transactions from contract through closing
Conduct due diligence, review and resolve title issues
Advise clients on zoning, land use, and leasing matters
Collaborate with clients, brokers, lenders, and other professionals
Engage in business development and networking across Asheville and WNC
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in North Carolina
3–5 years of hands-on transactional real estate experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated with a business-minded approach and long-term growth goals
