Job Description

As a Land Development Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing land development projects for their client(s).  You will manage multiple projects, while providing outstanding client care. You will be responsible for the monitoring, planning and development of the projects, procuring clients and their projects, direct project engineers and designers in the completion of engineering tasks.  Heavy Design Experience needed in site development.  Experience in Business Development and low-level accounting functions such as invoices, etc.  Reach out to Keaten Schorr at 605.782-9176 or keaten.schorr@gogpac.com.

Essential Functions and Duties

  • Independently manage multiple projects and ensure successful project delivery
  • Perform all project management functions including reporting and client invoice approval
  • Forecast future workload, staffing assignments, and project budgets
  • Assist with strategic marketing and the generation of proposals
  • Mentor, guide, and develop a team of well-qualified engineers and designers
  • High proficiency in all aspects of land development design and techniques
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D 
  • Coordinate with staff, project consultants, clients, and review agencies 

Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited school
  • P.E. certification
  • Available for site visits when needed
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience independently managing site development projects and hands on design work
  • Construction Administration experience preferred
  • Proven record in consulting organization and project delivery
  • Local market experience preferred but not required
  • Experience in single and multi-family residential development preferred
