A well-regarded law firm in the Cedar Rapids area is looking for an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions attorney to join its very busy corporate practice. You'll handle a steady flow of deals with real responsibility, working closely with firm leadership and clients.
What you'll do:
- Lead and support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and corporate restructurings
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, LOIs, and transaction documents
- Run due diligence and coordinate closings
- Advise business owners and companies on deal strategy and entity matters
What you bring:
- JD and active Iowa bar license, or eligibility to get one
- 5+ years of M&A or corporate transactional experience
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-service skills
- Able to manage multiple deals at once in a fast-paced practice
Compensation and benefits:
- Base pay of $150,000 to $225,000 per year, depending on experience
- Full benefits and a long-term path at the firm
