Tax Senior Manager
Location: Wayne, PA
Overview
A nationally ranked, employee-owned accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Senior Manager for a new office in Wayne, Pennsylvania. This is a hybrid position with three days per week onsite.
Responsibilities
- Lead engagement teams and oversee the performance, development and utilization of managers, seniors, associates and staff
- Manage key client relationships and provide strategic tax planning guidance
- Review engagement economics, monitor profitability and allocate resources
- Evaluate significant tax risks, technical matters and quality control considerations
- Develop and implement tax strategies addressing client needs and regulatory changes
- Mentor and coach staff and support recruiting and retention
- Contribute to practice growth through business development and networking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation preferred
- 7+ years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience
- CPA license required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ProSystem Engagement and CCH Axcess
- Construction, manufacturing and distribution, real estate or financial services experience desired
- Strong tax accounting skills, including consolidated federal returns, partnership returns and combined state returns
- Ability to manage staff on multiple engagements
