Job Description

Fuel new awards for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector across large Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. Permanent full-time Business Development Manager role at $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives, including Midwest travel.

Scope of work

• Secure steel erection opportunities with general contractors and owners across Midwest markets
• Manage pursuit strategy for major structural steel packages of 5,000+ tons
• Sustain market awareness of competitors, bid timing, and project pipelines
• Represent an AISC-certified Michigan erector in meetings, events, and site visits
• Travel the Midwest to deepen client relationships and win pursuits

What qualifies you

• Business development or sales experience within steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
• Comfort winning substantial Midwest projects by tonnage
• Existing network with general contractors, fabricators, or owners preferred
• Prepared for Midwest travel
• Clear communicator who turns pipelines into awarded work
