Job Description

A community bank in Fort Madison is hiring a Credit Analyst to support lenders across Lee County and southeast Iowa. You'll partner closely with loan officers, and the role offers a clear path toward commercial lending or credit administration.

Responsibilities:

• Spread financial statements and analyze new and renewing credit requests
• Assign and update risk ratings across the loan portfolio
• Write clear credit presentations for loan officers and committee
• Support month-end close plus regulatory and portfolio reports
• Track covenants, tickler items, and loan policy compliance
• Assist in training newer staff on credit procedures

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a close field
• At least a year of bank credit analysis experience preferred
• Solid skills in Excel and financial spreading software
• Careful attention to detail and sound judgment
• Interest in growing into a lending or credit role
