Job Description

A well-established Northern Virginia law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Associate to join its Fairfax office. This is a great opportunity for an early-career attorney who wants hands-on litigation experience and mentorship from seasoned trial attorneys.

What you'll do

• Defend insured clients in a range of civil and insurance defense matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery
• Take and defend depositions and attend hearings
• Communicate with clients and insurance carriers on case strategy and status
• Support partners in trial preparation

What you bring

• 1-5 years of litigation experience (newer attorneys with close to a year are welcome to apply)
• Active Virginia Bar license (required)
• Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a caseload with growing independence

Compensation and benefits

Competitive base salary, depending on experience. This is a hybrid position based in Fairfax, Virginia.
