Corporate Transactions Attorney: Mid-Level Deal Work in Fort Lauderdale

Our client, a growing South Florida business law firm, is seeking a Corporate Transactions Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join its Fort Lauderdale office. The team represents middle-market companies, investors, and lenders in acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and private capital raises.

This is an in-office role in Fort Lauderdale, where you will work side by side with an active transactional team.

What You'll Do

• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements, disclosure schedules, and ancillary documents
• Manage due diligence and closing checklists from letter of intent through closing
• Prepare private placement and investment documents
• Counsel clients on corporate governance and commercial contracts
• Mentor junior attorneys and paralegals on deal execution

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 4+ years of corporate transactional or M&A experience
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deals
• Commitment to working in office in Fort Lauderdale
