CNC Programmer

We are actively looking for a CNC Operator/Programmerwith experience utilizing Mastercamto join our growing team! The CNC Programmer will be responsible for operating and programming CNC Milling and Lathe machines to produce precise parts by reviewing blueprints and job orders to determine machining operations, load materials, and ensure proper alignment. As the CNC Programmer you will also be responsible for monitoring machine performance, inspect finished parts for quality, and make necessary adjustments to maintain company standards.

 

Job Type: Full Time, On-site

Responsibilities for the CNC Programmer:

  • Setup, program, and produce quality parts on various CNC machines such as but not limited to 3- and 5-Axis milling and lathe machines.
  • Utilize measurement tools including calipers, height gauges, micrometers, read and interpret prints.
  • Review blueprints, drawings, or job orders to determine the necessary machining operations and programming requirements.
  • Load materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment and positioning.
  • Monitor machine operations, inspecting and measuring finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings and tooling as necessary to maintain product quality and maximize efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts, to ensure optimal machine performance.

 

Requirements of the CNC Programmer:

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of CNC Programming experience
  • Highly proficient with MasterCAM software
  • Proven ability to program, set up, and run 3- and 5-axis CNC mills independently
  • Experience operating Matsuura, Haas, or Fanuc machines
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with the desire to mentor and grow with the company
