The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing structural steel projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to a high level of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned steel erection and fabrication projects from planning through completion
  • Review blueprints, specifications, and contract documents to understand scope and budget
  • Coordinate with field teams on equipment, materials, and subcontractor needs
  • Set up and manage projects within project management software
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams
  • Track project progress, productivity, and financial performance
  • Assist with billing and ensure proper project cash flow
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction
  • Structural steel experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office required (OST a plus)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
