Paralegal, Business Litigation, Harrisburg, PA

About the opportunity A nationally ranked, full-service law firm (Best Law Firms 2026, and among the 10 largest firms in Pittsburgh) that has served clients for more than a century is adding a Paralegal to its Business Litigation practice group in Harrisburg. You'll work closely with shareholders and paralegals across Family Law and General Law on the full spectrum of clients.

What you'll do

• Draft legal documents and file them in state systems and in federal court through PACER (CM/ECF)
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines, day to day and long term
• Handle direct client contact and relationship management
• Work directly with the court, and at times with opposing counsel and other third parties
• Draft, review, and oversee correspondence, research, reports, and email
• Schedule hearings and maintain group and attorney calendars
• Work with the Chief Compliance Officer on data security, privacy, policy, and client-facing audits

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years as a paralegal or in a related role
• PACER experience (docket searches, party information, downloading pleadings)
• State filing experience and familiarity with county and prothonotary websites
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Excellent communication and writing skills; organized, proactive, and team-oriented

• Lackner and ProSeries
• iManage
• Filing court documents (electronic filing preferred), including ECF federal filings
• Paralegal certificate
• Active notary
