Tax Manager - Ultra High Net Worth

Location: Blue Bell, PA

Overview

A large national audit, tax and consulting firm serving the middle market is seeking a Tax Manager in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania to serve ultra-high-net-worth multi-generational families, post-liquidity families and corporate executives who require complex estate and income tax planning and compliance. Most roles follow a hybrid workstyle.

Responsibilities

• Advise ultra-high-net-worth clients on wealth transfer, charitable and retirement planning and tax compliance
• Manage the engagement team focused on individual, fiduciary, gift, generation-skipping and estate taxation, including planning and execution of engagements
• Collaborate with state and local and international tax specialists
• Provide leadership, training and mentorship to staff and supervisors
• Work with senior leadership on growth opportunities with existing clients and prospects
• Develop strong relationships with clients and other professional advisors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
• Active CPA, Enrolled Agent or attorney license (or approved alternative certification)
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with an emphasis on taxation, including recent engagement management
• Proficiency in individual, fiduciary and investment partnership taxation and/or estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxation
• Familiarity with multi-state taxation
• LL.M. in Taxation and/or Master's in Taxation preferred
