About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager (PE) to join a growing engineering team. This position offers the opportunity to lead a variety of land/site development and public infrastructure projects from concept through construction while working with clients, municipal agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer with strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
• Manage civil engineering projects from planning and design through permitting and construction support.
• Lead the design and preparation of civil engineering plans, specifications, reports, and calculations.
• Oversee land development projects including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and site development.
• Manage public infrastructure projects such as roadways, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and municipal improvements.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, government agencies, and internal project teams.
• Prepare project scopes, schedules, budgets, and proposals.
• Monitor project progress, ensure quality control, and maintain project profitability.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience with a focus on land/site development and/or public infrastructure projects.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills.
• Experience with site grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting processes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Business development and client management experience.
• Familiarity with municipal, commercial, residential, and public-sector projects.
