Job Description

I'm currently working with a well-established and respected firm seeking a full-time Survey Technician to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in land surveying who’s ready to contribute to both public and private sector projects in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ALTA, boundary, and topographic surveys, final plats, and legal descriptions for various project types.

  • Process field survey notes, conduct survey-related research, and gather and compile relevant site data.

  • Demonstrate understanding of the Public Land Survey System, title commitments, easements, Arizona Boundary Survey Minimum Standards, and local submittal requirements.

  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center with proficiency; experience with MicroStation is a plus.

  • Interpret plans, specifications, and as-built drawings to perform accurate construction-related calculations.

  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms to coordinate with project teams.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in land surveying.

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical drafting education is a plus.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
