About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join a busy waste treatment and disposal operation in the Houston, TX area. This role is responsible for coordinating daily dispatch activities across roll-off, commercial, and residential services, ensuring efficient route management and excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact between drivers, customers, and operations teams, helping to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers across multiple service routes
• Manage roll-off, commercial, and residential waste collection operations
• Provide high-quality customer service via phone and email
• Monitor route performance and address scheduling issues as they arise
• Prepare and distribute end-of-day reports
• Liaise with approximately 18 drivers to ensure efficient service delivery
• Maintain accurate records and operational documentation

Skills & Experience

• Previous dispatching experience is required
• Experience within the waste hauling, waste management, transportation, or logistics sector is highly preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with email communication and reporting
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
