A well-established commercial builder in North Texas is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join its growing team in the Denton area. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys keeping projects organized, working closely with people, and building toward a Project Manager role.
What You'll Do
• Support the Project Manager with budgets, schedules and project documentation
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and meeting minutes
• Help buy out subcontracts and coordinate with trade partners and vendors
• Track costs and help prepare monthly pay applications and forecasts
• Work with the field team to keep projects safe, on schedule and on budget
• Build strong relationships with owners, architects and subcontractors
What You Bring
• 2–4 years of experience with a general contractor or construction manager
• A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equal experience
• Solid understanding of construction documents, contracts and scheduling
• Clear communication and strong organizational skills
• Comfort with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project or similar software
