Operations Manager | Food Manufacturing

A growing food manufacturing company in southern Texas(relocation provided) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead plant operations and drive safety, productivity, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys building high-performing teams.

If you have a strong background in food manufacturing operations—particularly within meat, poultry, or protein processing—this could be the next step in your career.

What You'll Do:

• Lead daily operations across Production, Supply Chain, and Maintenance
• Drive plant performance through safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-control initiatives
• Manage production schedules, staffing, throughput, and operational execution
• Champion food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance programs
• Develop and mentor supervisors and plant personnel
• Partner with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
• Establish and monitor KPIs to improve operational performance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, labor efficiency, and profitability

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing operations
• Strong preference for meat, poultry, or protein processing experience
• Proven ability to lead teams and improve plant performance
• HACCP training/certification preferred
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of WMS, CMMS, and Microsoft Office applications
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• High-energy leader with a hands-on management style
