A highly respected Am Law 100/200 firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Partner to join its growing litigation team. This is a unique opportunity for a senior attorney to step into a partner-level role without the requirement of bringing a book of business, supported by a strong pipeline of existing work and firm resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee complex insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
  • Handle products liability litigation, including high-exposure and multi-party cases
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients, including insurers and corporate entities
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and litigation teams
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on case strategy and client development initiatives

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation
  • Strong background in products liability matters
  • Proven ability to manage cases independently and lead litigation teams
  • Trial experience or significant deposition and motion practice experience preferred
  • Licensed and in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction
