Audit Senior/Supervisor - Western Massachusetts

Location: Hampden County, MA (hybrid)

I’m partnering with a well-established, full-service public accounting firm in Western Massachusetts that is experiencing steady growth due to recent retirements and continued client expansion. What You’ll Do

• Assist in audit planning, fieldwork, and completion of engagements
• Prepare audit workpapers and financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Review work performed by staff and provide constructive feedback
• Train and mentor team members while addressing technical questions
• Ensure compliance with firm quality control standards
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Support select advisory and transaction-related projects as needed

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of public accounting audit experience
• Active CPA required
• Experience with audits, reviews, and compilations for both for-profit and nonprofit clients
• Strong exposure to nonprofit organizations preferred
• Single Audit / Uniform Guidance experience strongly preferred (HUD experience a plus)
• Strong ability to research and apply accounting standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
• Software: Thomson Reuters Suite & QuickBooks
