Job Description

Drive revenue for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector that targets large Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. Permanent full-time Business Development Manager role with $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives; Midwest travel is part of the position.

What you'll handle

• Pursue steel erection opportunities with owners and general contractors around the Midwest
• Build winning pursuit plans for structural steel packages of 5,000+ tons
• Watch bid calendars, competitor positioning, and incoming project pipelines
• Represent an AISC-certified Michigan erector during client visits and industry events
• Travel across the Midwest to advance deals and grow lasting client relationships

Ideal background

• Experience selling or doing business development in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
• Success pursuing large-tonnage projects across the Midwest
• Relationships with general contractors, fabricators, or owners preferred
• Open to travel throughout the Midwest
• Strong communicator with a proven history of closing
