Responsibilities
- Manage and review a variety of tax engagements for business and individual clients.
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients.
- Research complex tax issues and develop practical solutions.
- Lead client meetings and strengthen long-term client relationships.
- Review work prepared by staff and senior accountants, providing coaching and mentorship.
- Assist with workflow management, engagement planning, and project oversight.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on client service initiatives and team development.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required.
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Strong experience preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returns.
- Generalist tax background preferred.
- Experience with High-Net-Worth Individuals, Trust & Estate taxation, and tax planning is highly desirable.
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, and develop team members.
- Excellent technical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
