Job Description

Help a structural steel fabricator serving Fairfield, OH deliver projects on time and on budget. As Project Manager you'll connect the shop floor with steel erectors, detailers, and clients from award to closeout.

Your focus:

• Track costs, billing, and production progress, and flag risks early
• Manage fabricated steel projects from contract award through closeout: scope, schedule, budget, and change orders
• Work with detailers, engineers, and the shop to keep drawings, approvals, and fabrication on track
• Coordinate closely with steel erectors on sequencing, delivery schedules, field issues, and site logistics
• Run project meetings with general contractors, owners, and erectors; manage RFIs and submittals

Experience:

• Able to read structural and shop drawings
• Engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
• 8+ years of project management in structural steel fabrication or steel erection
• Strong communication, scheduling, and cost-control skills
• Proven experience coordinating with steel erectors and field crews
