Job Description

A structural steel fabricator serving Mason, OH needs a Steel Estimator to price fabricated and erected packages for commercial and industrial work with accuracy and speed.

What you'll do:

• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for structural and miscellaneous steel from plans and specs
• Build complete estimates covering material, shop labor, and erection, and prepare proposals
• Solicit and evaluate quotes for detailing, erection, galvanizing, coatings, and freight
• Work with project managers and steel erectors on constructability and sequencing

You'll need:

• 5+ years estimating structural steel
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience with estimating software such as Tekla EPM, SDS2, or similar
