About the Role
We’re recruiting on behalf of a reputable financial institution seeking a skilled BSA/Compliance Officer. This is a high-impact role for a compliance professional looking to lead and scale a comprehensive BSA/AML/OFAC program. You’ll be responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with federal regulations, developing and maintaining risk assessments, and serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the BSA/AML/OFAC compliance program.
Monitor systems for suspicious activity; manage SAR investigations, reviews, and filings.
Conduct and update risk assessments across products, services, customers, and geographies.
Create and deliver BSA and regulatory compliance training to all levels of the organization.
Draft and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with evolving regulations.
Manage internal reviews and corrective action plans across business units.
Review new and existing products, services, and marketing materials for regulatory compliance.
Act as the point of contact for regulatory examinations, audits, and external inquiries.
Qualifications
5–10 years of compliance, risk management, or audit experience in financial services.
Strong understanding of BSA, AML, OFAC, and relevant U.S. regulatory frameworks.
Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to advise executives and teams.
Experience using compliance and AML monitoring software systems.
CAMS, CRCM, or related certification preferred, but not required.
