Accounts Payable Coordinator

A leading Atlanta area commercial General Contractor is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join its accounting team.

Whether you have a degree in accounting, finance, or business, or have gained experience through administrative, bookkeeping, or office support roles, we are willing to train the right individual who brings strong attention to detail, organization, and a positive attitude.
What You'll Do
- Process vendor and subcontractor invoices
- Verify invoice coding and route for approvals
- Assist with weekly check runs and payment processing
- Maintain subcontractor compliance documentation, including W-9s and Certificates of Insurance
- Respond to vendor payment inquiries
- Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized accounting records and project files
- Support Project Managers and the Accounting team with administrative and financial tasks
- Assist with month-end accounting processes as needed
What We're Looking For
- 0-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, administrative, or office experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Interest in building a career within the construction industry
