A well-established and highly respected contractor in the Southeast is seeking a Field Engineer to support large-scale heavy highway and bridge projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily field operations on heavy highway and bridge projects
• Assist with layout, surveying, and documentation
• Track project progress, quantities, and production
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 1–5+ years of experience in heavy civil, highway, or bridge construction
• Strong understanding of construction processes and field operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Willingness to work in the field and travel as needed
