Job Description

A local bank in Cedar Falls is seeking a Credit Analyst to support its lending team across Black Hawk County and the Cedar Valley. The role covers financial analysis, risk rating, and underwriting support, with a path toward lending or credit leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with loan officers on new requests and renewals
• Spread financial statements and analyze tax returns and cash flow
• Risk-rate commercial credits and write clear credit memos
• Help train newer staff on credit procedures
• Assist with month-end and regulatory reporting
• Keep loan files in line with policy and compliance standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting
• 1+ years as a bank credit analyst preferred
• Solid Excel and financial modeling skills
• Detail oriented with excellent written communication
• Interest in growing into a lending role
