A well-respected Minneapolis-based law firm is seeking a talented Employment Law Attorney to join its growing management-side labor & employment practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to develop deep expertise in employment litigation while working within a collaborative, mentorship-driven team environment.

Position Overview

The selected attorney will represent employers in a wide range of employment matters, including litigation and advisory work. The practice handles sophisticated disputes and provides strategic counseling to business clients across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Defend employers in employment-related disputes involving:

  • Discrimination claims

  • Wage and hour matters

  • Retaliation claims

  • Harassment allegations

  • Wrongful termination actions

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Conduct depositions and participate in mediations and hearings

• Provide day-to-day employment counseling to management clients

• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and partners on complex matters

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of employment law experience

• Litigation experience in employment disputes preferred

• Plaintiff-side experience will be considered

• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills

• Ability to manage cases with increasing autonomy

• Minnesota bar admission (or ability to obtain within one year of employment)
