Audit Manager - Asset Management

Location: Denver, CO

Overview

A large national accounting and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Manager with asset management audit experience for its Denver office. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Discuss engagement efficiencies and client-specific risks
• Develop the audit approach used by engagement teams
• Instruct and oversee audit staff throughout engagements
• Review complex client transactions
• Prepare and/or review financial statements
• Coordinate audit closing communications, client correspondence and open items
• Research technical issues

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting experience
• Experience with asset management audits
• Experience using Engagement software a plus
• Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's preferred
• CPA or eligibility to work toward a CPA license
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
