gpac is working with a growing innovative food manufacturer that is seeking a Head of Operations for their facility in the southern greater Boston area.

The Head of Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations. This leadership role manages all personnel associated with production and is accountable for driving performance and continuous improvement across production and plays a critical role in aligning daily operations with long-term business goals, optimizing plant performance, and supporting a safe, food-compliant, and efficient work environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership and oversight for all activities related to the preparation and production of finished goods
• Own end-to-end supply chain planning, including demand forecasting (in partnership with Business Development), production planning, and raw material inventory strategy.
• Ensure effective delegation and follow-through throughout the operations team
• Leads workforce planning efforts in collaboration with the Operations Manager and HR, aligning staffing strategy with established departmental goals and training initiatives
• Supply chain management
