Job Description

Our client, a respected transportation and construction engineering firm in Southeast Michigan, is seeking a Construction Engineer / Project Manager to lead MDOT and local agency construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage construction engineering and inspection for MDOT and local agency projects
• Oversee field staff, documentation, testing, and contract administration
• Process pay estimates, change orders, and project records
• Coordinate with agencies, contractors, and design teams
• Apply transportation knowledge from design through final construction

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Michigan
• 8+ years of MDOT or heavy highway and/or bridge construction experience
• Knowledge of MDOT specifications and documentation (FieldManager a plus)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
