Litigation Associate Attorney

A respected and established Texas law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney seeking meaningful courtroom experience, hands-on litigation responsibility, strong mentorship, and long-term career growth within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The practice offers a dynamic mix of hearings, motion practice, discovery, negotiations, and direct client interaction. Associates are given meaningful responsibility early and will have the opportunity to develop into confident, well-rounded litigators with substantial case management experience.

Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of litigation experience
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and an active caseload
  • Experience with hearings, motion practice, discovery, or client interaction preferred
  • Professional, personable, and team-oriented
  • Coachable, motivated, and eager to grow as a litigator

The firm is open to candidates from a variety of litigation backgrounds, including civil litigation, insurance defense, government practice, or other related areas.

Responsibilities

  • Attend virtual and in-person hearings
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery
  • Manage litigation deadlines and active case files
  • Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions
  • Maintain direct communication with clients and opposing counsel
  • Work closely with experienced attorneys while developing independent case management skills
