Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Superintendent with a proven background in luxury custom home construction. The ideal Superintendent will bring 10+ years of hands-on experience managing high-end residential builds, with exceptional attention to detail, strong technical proficiency, and outstanding client-facing communication skills. This Superintendent will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards expected in luxury homebuilding.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities as the lead Superintendent for luxury custom homes
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure seamless project execution
- Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for homeowners, providing a high-touch, professional client experience
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure craftsmanship meets luxury-level expectations
- Utilize construction management software to track progress, budgets, documentation, and reporting
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and project managers to execute complex custom designs
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to prevent delays or cost overruns
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs, schedules, and change orders
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in luxury custom home construction
- Proven track record managing high-end residential projects from ground-up through completion
- Strong proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore, CoConstruct, or similar)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with high-net-worth clients
- Deep understanding of luxury construction methods, materials, and finishes
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and design documents
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Commitment to delivering superior craftsmanship and customer satisfaction
