**Internal Audit Associate (Hybrid) — Pittsburgh, PA**
Pay: $76,000 – $95,000 + bonus potential
Internal audit with flexibility. A well-established Pittsburgh CPA firm is hiring an Internal Audit Associate, full- or part-time, to make rotational same-day visits to member organizations of large regional nonprofits. Full-timers round out the week with external audit work.
What you'll do:
- Review transactions for compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Evaluate financial documents and flag risks with recommendations
- Spot record-keeping processes that can be improved
- Apply professional standards and regulations to keep organizations compliant
- Communicate findings clearly with client leadership
What you bring:
- Bachelor's in Accounting; CPA or CIA a plus
- 3+ years of recent internal or external audit experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Self-starter who works well independently
