Job Description

Join a structural steel fabricator near Milford, OH as a Steel Estimator. You'll build accurate, competitive bids for fabricated and erected structural and miscellaneous steel on commercial and industrial jobs.

Key duties:

• Develop complete estimates for material, shop labor, and erection, and prepare proposals
• Take off and price structural and miscellaneous steel from project plans and specs
• Review sequencing and constructability with project managers and steel erectors
• Collect and compare quotes for detailing, erection, galvanizing, coatings, and freight

Qualifications:

• 5+ years estimating structural steel
• Hands-on with Tekla EPM, SDS2, or similar estimating software
• Strong blueprint reading ability
