Commercial Construction Superintendent (Masonry Focus)
We are confidentially seeking a strong Commercial Construction Superintendent with extensive commercial masonry experience to oversee large-scale ground-up commercial projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who can confidently run a jobsite, lead field operations, coordinate multiple trades, and ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining high standards for safety and quality.
Project types may include:
- High-rise developments
- Universities and educational facilities
- Healthcare and institutional projects
- Churches and large commercial structures
- Complex structural masonry builds
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects
- Oversee all masonry-related scopes including block, brick, stone, and structural masonry work
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and scheduling
- Maintain project safety, quality control, and production goals
- Work closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, and ownership teams
- Identify and solve field issues proactively to keep projects moving efficiently
- Maintain strong jobsite leadership and accountability across crews and trades
Qualifications:
- Strong background in commercial construction supervision with heavy masonry experience
- Experience managing large-scale ground-up commercial projects
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
- Strong scheduling, coordination, and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Hands-on, field-oriented leadership style
- Calm under pressure with strong communication and problem-solving skills
