Structural Engineer / Project Manager – Tampa, FL

A well-established structural engineering firm in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer / Project Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated structural engineer looking to advance their career while taking ownership of multiple commercial structural engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple structural engineering projects from design through completion.

• Perform and oversee structural analysis and design for commercial projects.

• Coordinate with clients and project team members throughout the project lifecycle.

• Provide direction, feedback, and technical support to project team members.

• Manage project schedules and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.

• Communicate project requirements, updates, and technical information to clients.

• Utilize structural design software to develop and review engineering solutions.

• Identify and resolve project issues proactively.

• Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy across all project deliverables.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of structural engineering design experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

• P.E. license preferred; EIT candidates will be considered based on experience.

• Proven project management experience.

• Experience designing structural engineering projects, preferably commercial.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.

• Strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent client communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Highly motivated with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $85,000 – $100,000 DOE
