Associate Attorney – Commercial & Insurance Defense Litigation | Manchester, NH | 1–3 Years Experience | NH Bar Required

A well-established law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its commercial and insurance defense litigation team in Manchester, New Hampshire. This role offers hands-on involvement in all phases of trial work — from drafting pleadings and managing discovery to motion practice and evidentiary hearings — for an attorney with 1–3 years of litigation experience and strong academic credentials.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of litigation experience
  • Currently licensed to practice in New Hampshire
  • Court appearance experience preferred
  • Experience taking and defending depositions preferred
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills (writing sample required)

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare discovery and motions
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Argue motions before federal and state courts
  • Conduct interviews and gather case materials
  • Collaborate with and support other attorneys
  • Organize and manage litigation filings and case processes
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal law across matters
