Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, relationship-focused Marketing Specialist to join our growing law firm. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this individual will play a key role in supporting attorney business development, firm-wide communications, event planning, and social media initiatives.
The ideal candidate is an outgoing professional who enjoys building relationships, coordinating events, and helping professionals promote their practices. This role requires someone who can engage with attorneys to understand their practice areas, client development goals, and marketing needs while also fostering collaboration and communication across the firm.
Key Responsibilities Attorney Marketing & Business Development
- Meet regularly with attorneys to help execute individual marketing plans and budgets.
- Learn about attorneys' practice areas, clients, and business development goals.
- Promote collaboration among attorneys by ensuring awareness of services and practice areas across the firm.
- Schedule professional photo sessions for new attorneys.
Communications & Content Management
- Write and publish social media content highlighting firm events, achievements, and employment opportunities.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Director to schedule and manage video recording sessions for website and social media content.
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing and social media campaigns.
- Assist with website content updates and coordinate with third-party web development vendors.
Event Planning & Community Engagement
- Plan and manage annual attorney events, including:
- Attorney/Spouse Cocktail Party
- Attorney/Client Holiday Party
- Attorney Retreat
- Attend law school events, law firm administrator meetings, and community networking events to promote the firm.
- Coordinate Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs and speaker events for attorney education credits.
Internal Relations & Administrative Support
- Meet with employee resource groups and practice groups, including:
- Practice Area Meetings
- Women's Group Meetings
- Young Attorney Meetings
- Take and distribute meeting minutes as needed.
- Assist Human Resources with annual employee events, including:
- Employee Appreciation Day
- Bring Your Child to Work Day
- Summer Picnic
- Employee Holiday Party
Qualifications Required Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of marketing, communications, event planning, or related experience.
- Experience managing social media platforms and content creation.
- Event planning and project management experience.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, clients, and community partners.
- Experience tracking and reporting on marketing campaign performance.
- Familiarity with website management and working with third-party web developers.
