Healthcare Attorney | Miami, FL
A growing and well-respected legal practice is seeking a Healthcare Attorney to join its Miami office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney interested in working closely with healthcare providers and organizations on regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters within a sophisticated and evolving industry.
The role focuses on advising physicians, medical groups, and healthcare-related businesses on a wide range of regulatory and operational issues, while helping clients navigate complex federal and state healthcare laws.
What You’ll Do
- Advise healthcare providers and organizations on regulatory and compliance matters affecting their operations
- Assist clients with healthcare transactions and structuring business arrangements, including joint ventures and other strategic partnerships
- Provide guidance on healthcare laws and regulations including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, EMTALA, and other federal and state compliance requirements
- Support matters involving professional licensing, investigations, and regulatory issues impacting healthcare providers
- Draft and review physician employment agreements, physician practice formation documents, and healthcare operational agreements
- Advise on issues related to physician reimbursement, telemedicine, ancillary services, and hospital/physician integration
- Work collaboratively with healthcare clients to ensure business objectives remain compliant with applicable healthcare regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Active Florida Bar member in good standing
- Experience or strong interest in healthcare law, regulatory compliance, or healthcare-related transactions
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory frameworks and provider compliance issues is a plus
- Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills
- Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively with a legal team
- Client-focused mindset with strong communication skills
