Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Location: Eastern PA

A well-established, family-owned construction, waste, and recycling company with decades of industry leadership is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for an immediate hire.

Position Overview

The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks, trash trucks, and heavy equipment, ensuring fleet reliability and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on trash trucks and heavy equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
• Conduct routine inspections and safety checks
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls as needed
• Assist other technicians with project work and complex repairs

Qualifications

• 3 years hands-on experience with trash trucks and diesel engines.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
