Labor & Employment Attorney: Employer Defense with Hybrid Flexibility in Pasadena

Our client, a respected Pasadena firm with a strong employment practice, is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience. The team defends employers in FEHA, wage-and-hour, PAGA, wrongful termination, and retaliation matters and provides day-to-day advice on California workplace compliance.

This is a hybrid role. You will divide your week between the Pasadena office and home, with substantive responsibility and close partner support.

What You'll Do

• Defend employers in single-plaintiff, PAGA, and class action litigation
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions and attend mediations
• Advise clients on handbooks, investigations, and California employment law compliance
• Contribute to client development and team strategy

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• 3+ years of labor and employment litigation or advice and counsel experience
• Strong command of California employment law
• Excellent writing and advocacy skills
• Comfort with a hybrid schedule
